Again we are going to be played by our political leaders. One of them has struck a deal of the century, imagine the number of cars and how much that will be made in this whole transaction.
They just sit down over a drink, cook up a deal, pass it into law, now we are made to service that business within a given time.

None of them care how we will find that kind of money. All they care about is just pay. Annoyingly no difference on the plate except for the Nigerian map on it. Also the numbers are purely a reverse of existing ones; For example: AA 831 KJA & KJA 831 AA --------» Pure fraud..

How will this exercise benefit Nigerians. Once again our political leaders have shown that the opinion of the masses do not count. How can the use of the new fraudulent plate numbers become an OFFENCE?

When asked how he started his music career, he said, I would say that I’ve been trying since I was in A.J (Ajegunle) City, when Achievas Music moved me from there to Festac, things started moving fine. From the new friends I started making then, I dropped my first single ‘One In a Million’ and that was it.

Asked to tell his story, he said, It started way back in AJ city when I had to do a lot of things to survive since I lost my grandma and my dad. It was only me and my elder brother. So after my secondary school, I had to do something. I started hawking at Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA)…(Laughs). I was hawking meat pie. The first song I recorded was with Achievas Music and things changed from then.

You worked with Tonto Dikeh on her ‘Sheba’ song. How was the experience?

You know, Tonto is a crazy girl and the music came out good, the experience was crazy. I had to put her through because she is not a musician; we went through a lot to put her through.

In your opinion, would you say she is on the right track going into music?

I think she is doing it for fun, she’s enjoying herself. If fans like her for that then it’s good. At least she is being called for shows and she is making money from it so definitely she is doing well.

You and Tonto Dikeh have been romantically linked, how is she to you?

We are just good friend.

A man in Borno has been sentenced to spend 10 years behind prison bars after being convicted of r*pe.


Babagana Mohammed was charged to court and could not establish his innocence as claimed thus he was found guilty.

The sentence was handed down by a High Court in Maiduguri, the state capital and it was established that the convict was fond of sexually assaulting married women.

Babagana, according to reports from his community, had a reputation for forcing his way with married
women, until luck ran out on him, when he decided to commit the crime closer home, when he attempted to r*pe the young wife of his best friend, whom he visited after her husband had travelled out of town.

According to the Registrar of the court, Barrister Sanda, Babagana was sentenced in accordance with the provisions of Section 283 of the Penal Code of Nigeria.

Wakil had, while pronouncing the judgment, observed that “the crime of r*pe has assumed a universal dimension and therefore people should be wary of associates and acquaintances with such evil tendencies”.

The judge described the convict as “a poacher of married women whose act is reprehensible and callous. He is thereby sentenced to 10 years in prison with hard labour.”

In his defence, Babagana simply described his act as “a mistake”.

A French magazine known for stirring up controversies and never backing down from publishing sensitive stories has dared President Francois Hollande, claiming he was having a secret affair with an actress.

French magazine Closer said today that the President was having an affair with actress Julie Gayet, backing its claim with photographs after months of swirling rumours.

Closer’s Friday edition carried a seven-page report on the 59-year-old president’s alleged infidelity under the headline “Francois Hollande and Julie Gayet – the president’s secret love”.

The weekly tabloid’s actions earned a rapid rebuke from the president, who said he was considering legal action over what he called an “attack” on his right to privacy.

Closer, echoing reports published on various websites in recent days, said Hollande routinely drives through Paris on his scooter to spend the night with his 41-year-old mistress.

“Around New Year’s Day, a helmeted head of state joined the actress at her apartment, where he has got into the habit of spending the night,” Closer wrote on its website.

Speaking in a personal capacity, Hollande condemned the report as an “attack on the right to privacy,” to which he “like every other citizen has a right”.

The president, in a statement released exclusively to AFP, said he was “looking into possible action, including legal action,” against the weekly magazine.

Respected news weekly L’Express had last month reported that the presidential palace’s security services were increasingly concerned by Hollande’s frequent “escapades”.

Closer said the pictures raised security concerns by showing that the head of state is accompanied by only one bodyguard when he treks halfway across Paris to Gayet’s flat.

The bodyguard “even brings the croissants”, Closer said.

Hollande lives with his partner Valerie Trierweiler, a journalist for whom he left fellow Socialist politician Segolene Royal, the mother of his four children.

Gayet, who appeared in one of Hollande’s 2012 election commercials, filed a complaint in March over rumours of the affair which she said were a breach of privacy.

Gayet, a mother of two, is an established television and cinema character actress who has appeared in more than 50 films.

Chris Brown Turns Down Plea Deal And Faces 6 Months In Jail

Famous controversial singer, Chris Brown and his bodyguard Christopher Hollosy have turned down a plea deal offered to them in a D.C. assault case.

Chris Breezy and his bodyguard were charged with one count of misdemeanor simple assault which came after an altercation that took place outside the W hotel in downtown Washington back in October.

Brown and Hollosy came to the D.C. Superior Court for a brief hearing in which Danny Onorato, one of Brown’s attorneys rejected a plea deal.

According to the Washington Post, Hollosy’s attorney, Bernie Grimm, said the plea deal was the same as the original charge.

Brown and Hollosy both face a maximum penalty of 180 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Chiwetel Ejiofor, Steve McQueen Dump Movie On Fela

The duo of Nigerian Chiwetel Ejiofor and British Steve McQueen have left a planned movie on the life of Nigerian music legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.


According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project was dumped by the actors due to lack of funds.

McQueen was quoted by The Hollywood Reporter to have said, “they didn’t have the money. It is one of those things that happens in this business.”

Ejiofor would have played Fela in the said movie, which was reportedly described as ”dead” by McQueen, following the latest development.

It is uncertain if the project would still be revisited in the nearest future when the money to run the biopic is eventually sourced for.

There are more women than there are men, and whether you know it or not, "your" man probably has another woman...or two. Stop being naive to these facts. A man has to both love and be in love with a woman in order to be faithful. Majority of you have men that only love you and that's makes all of the difference.
Most men are not in love with their women. I am using men as the end all, be all because society is patriarchal and it is fitting and very true for my assessment.
Do you ever, ever hear men saying "I can't wait to get a ring!" or "I can't wait to get husbanded up!"? No. Most marriages are initiated by women as are most divorces. Society has convinced most women that the pinnacle of their existence revolves around marriage to a man and bearing his children.

Because of society brainwashing most women this way, men can generally get away with whatever they want to because they are the prize in the relationship, not the woman. What a lot of women do not understand is that they are nothing more than live-in maids, cooks, and sex partners. Of course a man can love a woman who cooks, cleans, and fucks him. But the magic is with the man BEING IN LOVE with the woman. Love and being in love are two different blurred lines and people like to gloss of this fact in order to save face and their feelings.

I think that infidelity is rampant because most men are not in love with their women. I could also argue that forcing most people in monogamous relationships also creates infidelity, but I do not feel like explaining all of that right now. Anyway, yes, the "being in love" part of relationships do not last long at all. Do you ever hear people say "The spice is gone"? or "I'm bored in our relationship"? Yeah, that's where these sayings come from.

NBC orders radio stations to suspend ban on Nigerian artiste

The National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, has ordered the Broadcasting Society of Nigeria (BON) and the Independent Broadcasting Society of Nigeria, IBAN, to lift the ban imposed on all Nigerian artistes
registered with the Copyrights Society of Nigeria ( COSON).

BON/IBAN banned the artists late last year after falling out with COSON over royalties of artistes.

NBC has waded into the matter and ordered BON to suspend the ban.

'My son lied against Pastor Fireman" - Mother of virgin killer speaks

2 days ago you read that controversial Lagos pastor Sign Fireman had been arrested by Lagos police over the alleged ritual murder of a 12 year old girl, Bose Ogoja, after the girl's killer, 18 year old Ikechukwu claimed he killed her following instructions from Pastor Sign Fireman. (If you missed it, read it here). Well, the boy's mother has spoken out and says her son has never met the founder and Head Pastor of Perfect Christian Mission.


Mrs Esther Egbo told reporters yesterday that they were members of the Badagry branch of Fireman's church and in the two years they've been in the church, they have never set eyes on the man. She said her son had been arrested four different times by the police for attempted rape and had even been charged to court and was only released on December 10, 2013. Continue...


Mrs Egbo said:

"My son has been under a spell since 2009 when he was cursed by one of my neighbours in Badagry. Sometimes, he suddenly sees young girls, grabs them and starts trying to molest them. He only behaves like that in the afternoon and the whole neighborhood knows. In 2011, he was arrested after touching a 15-year-old girl inappropriately. Later, he was arrested for attempting to rape a 17-year-old girl. Most times, it is residents that call to tell me that my son has been detained at the Badagry Police Station when I am looking for him.
“In November, he did it again and was arraigned before a Badagry Magistrates Court for attempted rape and remanded in Badagry Prison for 19 days. He was released on December 10 after he was acquitted. It was three weeks later that he killed the little girl.
I asked him what happened that day and he said he was eating at one woman's shop and saw the woman's daughter pass. He stood up and followed the girl and dragged her into an uncompleted building where he killed her. He was caught as he attempted to run. He said something came over him.
“We even started a deliverance programme for him at the church and he never even met Pastor Fireman. After his interview with journalists, I asked my son why he lied against the pastor and he said it was because he was threatened .”

The killer's mother said although they attended Fireman’s church, they never met with him because as the General Overseer of the church, it was not always easy for members to see him at random.
She said her son did not even have Fireman’s telephone number and wondered where the supposed meeting he had with her son took place.

An aide to the pastor described the allegations against Fireman as ridiculous, adding that Fireman could not have stooped so low as to encourage a teenager to commit murder.

“I have spoken to the boy (Ikechukwu) and he told me that he was coerced into saying what he said to the press. Pastor Fireman is a very rich man. What sort of money ritual would he want to do? His father owns a gold factory in Russia while his mother is a professor at ABSU. This is a man that has distinguished himself.

Ikechukwu killed Bose in the Badagry area of Lagos State. When he was paraded before journalists at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba, he said he killed the girl in an uncompleted building following instructions from pastor Sign Fireman.

Ikechukwu said,

“I attend Perfect Christian Mission Headquarters around Ketu Street, Aguda, but I live with my parents in Badagry. I just finished secondary school and I have been very broke. So, I approached the pastor, Sign Fireman, for money, but he told me that I should strangulate a little girl. He explained that while strangulating the girl, she would pass out faeces in the throes of death. The pastor said I should obtain the faeces and bring it to him. He said if I could do this, he would give me N100, 000.”

The suspect’s mother says the boy later confessed to her that nothing of such happened and that the 12 year old only passed feces due to the rape and strangulation. She said the incident had nothing to do with ritual but a case of rape that led to murder.

Meanwhile, it was learnt that many church members had elected to give the pastor free legal service.
Fireman’s lawyer, Peter Oboyi, said the police had no evidence against the pastor adding that his client’s home had even been searched on Wednesday and no evidence was found.
He said,

“Pastor Fireman has over 100,000 members worldwide and does not even know one tenth of them let alone a small boy in the Badagry branch of the church. The boy has even confessed to the police that it wasn’t the pastor that sent him to the dastardly act. The allegations are frivolous and based on hearsay. If you want to send someone to kill another person, you will send someone that you trust, someone that wouldn’t give your name up easily. How could pastor have done such?”
