4 Things You Should NEVER Do When Dumping Someone

dumping
Be you the dumper or the dumpee, breaking up is the pits. It also happens more and more these days with online dating. You go on one date with a person, and feel no connection. You don’t want to see them again. This wouldn’t be a problem — but they DID feel something, and now they are texting you.

hey want to see you again. They want to run through a field of corn nuggets with you. They want to sing Faith Hill songs into the nape of your neck. You want to sit at home and watch Boardwalk Empire in your lounging pants solo. It’s gnarly because now you’ve got to gently break-up with someone…who you weren’t even dating.
The best thing you can is respond honestly but kindly. They ask to see you again and you say, “I’m really glad I got a chance to meet you, but we’re not a good match.” That’s right. Be that definitive. Leave no wiggle room. Below you’ll find 5 mistakes women make when “breaking up” with a new suitor.
1.) The Fade Away
This just makes you look like an asshole and a big ol’ coward. You’re none of those things! You are awesome. Be awesome — treat this person well.
2.) “I Think…”
Trust me on this, even saying “I think we’re not a good match,” leaves the door open to an especially persistent brand of jerk. “Sure, that’s what YOU think, but what about what I THINK?” You don’t want to open yourself up to that sort of pointlessly hostile exchange.
3.) “…Right Now”
They covered this on How I Met Your Mother. If you say something like “I just don’t think we’re a good fit…right now,” you are keeping that dude on your hook. You’re giving him license to check in WEEKLY even to see if “right now” has changed.
4.) TEXT WARS
This is rare, but you might come across someone who won’t take no for an answer. He keeps texting, he keeps calling, he keeps emailing. This my friend, is where you stop texting and stop explaining yourself, and back away. You were polite and reasonable — he’s out of line.

Access Bank Paid 1 Million Dollars For Mariah Carey’s Perfomance After Firing 200 Workers

Mariah-Carey-Lagos
Mariah Carey’s controversial perfomance in Nigeria that was hosted by Access Bank on Saturday, December 14, 2013 for it’s outgoing Managing Director Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede has been hit by reports that the bank layed off 200 workers recently but paid the American beauty a million dollars.

Sources say Aig-Imoukhuede, a big fan of Mariah Carey was the one who wanted the US star to perform at the gig at all cost.
Carey was paid and flown into the country along with her live band. A day after her trip to the country, she was accused by a US website of ‘performing for money men in Nigeria’.
Her visit and performance here upset more than a few, especially after it emerged the bank which has disengaged thousands of workers since 2012, had paid her generously.
Since February 2013, Access Bank has been in court with about 1,500 former employees of the bank who instituted a case against the bank which they claim ‘illegally withheld, manipulated and mismanaged’ their gratuities and severance packages.
The party was described by those who attended as very extravagant and lavish as food and almost every kind of drinks were in abundance.

Nigerian Lady Opens Up On Having S*X With Her Brothers

It’s really sad that they carried this “bad” act into secondary school. Read the lady’s story below…

A lot of us have slept with our brother/sister while growing up. For me, I was disvirginéd at the age of 5 by my uncle.

After that, I started sleeping with my brother cause of the urge and when my uncle left for secondary school, I slept with my brother till I was in SS1 (when I realised that what I was doing is wrong).

Though then, my brother would still make moves trying to seduce me – for example he walks around the house with his manhood eréct or saying words like “if you want us to do it am ready”.

He is now a séx addict and carries ashawo and gals around. I know it’s all my fault and don’t know how to help him. I also spoke to him that I know what I did is wrong but I have asked the Lord to forgive me and help my brother too.

This happens in homes mostly where the parents are not always around. I want to have kids too and I don’t want the same thing happening to them. Please help me prevent and control this.

I know I am not the only child this happened to; it was common in the 1980′s and 1990′s cos some parents use maids and relatives to take care of their kids and the “helpers” use the kids as séx experiment.

But how can we prevent this generation from suffering the same thing?

Bimbo Akintola- I don’t need a husband

In this recent interview with the Vanguard on boxing day, the actress talks about her acting, relationship and life as an actress.Read excerpts from the interview below:

Siince hitting the limelight in a big way with ‘Out of Bounds” alongside RMD in the 90s, Bimbo Akintola has become a big name who does things in a big way. You don’t approach her with your scripts unless you have big plans about it.

Controversial, some might say, but Bimbo describes herself as easy-going but definitely not when falsehoods have been peddled about her as a story running wide that she is in desperate need of a husband.

She ran into our reporter on Boxing Day in Lekki where she was part of the humanitarian institution who put together an Xmas party for some orphanages.
There, she opens up on several issues concerning her. Excerpts:

Why did you decide to party with the kids?
Heart of Gold Hospice, that’s why. There was Compassionate Children’s Home, there was Heart of Gold Hospice and one other one here today. But it’s actually because of Heart of Gold, I go to Heart of Gold on and off. I have been going there over the years and it’s heartbreaking when you go there and you see those children, it’s not just a regular orphanage, it’s a hospice. And what Aunty, the woman who runs the place does is that she makes sure they get the surgery they need to stay alive. It’s amazing, you need to go there and see for yourself what it’s all about.

What do you hope to achieve at the end of the day?
What I want to do at the end of the day is to raise money for this orphanages, especially the hospice, they need money because these children go for surgeries regularly, you can see that some of the children that came here today have special needs.

You are doing more of Yoruba movies these days than English movies compared to your early days in acting, why is that so?

I do English movies when I see good scripts. Hoodrush was in the cinemas this year. Next year one or two will be in the cinemas.
Are you working on any project at the moment?

I just finished Golden Penny Pasta Children’s Kitchen, I anchored that. Right now, I’m on break, finally.

Besides acting, what else do you do?
I do all kinds of stuff. I anchor shows, I do contracts for documentaries and safety videos for companies. I do all kinds of stuff.

When did you actually start acting?
I can’t even remember. I’m so old that I can’t remember. I think it’s almost twenty years.

What was the experience like, the first time you were on set?
I was too excited to feel anything else. I was just a bundle of excitement. For me, it was great fun.

What motivated you to go into acting?
That’s what I’ve always wanted to do with my life, especially when I realised that it could be a profession. I went to the University of Ibadan and studied Theatre Arts and then I started acting.

How did you start?
While I was at school, I used to do stage plays and then a friend of mine said, “Oh, Ola Fanni Kayode is doing a serial on TV” and I should look in for someone to take a particular part and I said “Okay, I’ll go for the audition”,  and so I went for the audition, if you could call it an audition, because I went, saw her, talked to her and she was like “The part is yours”. That was it. That was how I started.

So far, how has the experience been?
It’s been good and bad. I’m doing what I’m passionate about, what I like doing, so that gives a lot of joy and happiness. But one of the things I find most damaging about being an actor is the press, I have to say it. It’s like they have no idea about how damaging some of the things they write about people can be.
There are a lot of things happening in the industry, if you want to write stories, write the truth, don’t go forming stories or listen to someone’s stupid idea that has no root in reality and put it in the paper as front page news. I think that’s the most irresponsible action anyone can take. You should  know that some of these things do affect people’s lives.

I’m lucky in the sense that my family understands that my work is different from me. They understand that I don’t listen to gossips and I call anything that is written without a foundation of truth, gossip – total gossip! My friends understand, people who know me understand the kind of person I am, so they don’t even talk to me about such things when they read about it on paper, and I’m lucky in that regard.

But I know my colleagues who have been adversely affected by some of the things that have been printed about them all in the name of selling their papers. You want to sell your papers and forget that human lives are more important than making money. It’s the height of ridicule.

That’s the worst part of being an actor. For me, I believe the press and actors have a role to play in each other’s lives. The stories you write are about us, we are there for you as well, because we need you when we are doing stuffs that is important to us for publicity. It should be a symbiotic relationship, we are supposed to feed from each other. But when you have people out there who are out to damage you, you don’t want to work with them.

So,what is the worst rumour you’ve heard about yourself?
Oh, that I’m looking for a husband, that I’m desperate for a husband. That’s the worst I’ve heard and that’s the latest one. I’m not looking for a husband and I don’t need one.

You don’t need one?
I don’t need anything. I’m a complete person. I only do things that make me happy, because I believe and I understand the reality that this is just one life and you should live it to the maximum, happiness and peace should be the key. I’m not searching for a husband, because the rumour that I’m searching for a husband has given me wahala,- all kinds of people from left, right and centre, looking for me saying they want to marry me. Please, I’m using this opportunity to tell everybody, I am not looking for a husband!

Can you name some of the awards you’ve received?
Oh, my God! They are so many, most of them are from organisations here and there.

How do you handle your fans?
I love my fans, without my fans who would I be? Nobody! The fans make you who you are. It’s because they find something in you that they like, that they clique with, that’s why you’re in demand, that’s why you have such followership. So I am very humbled by my fans.

How would you describe your person?
I’m really very easy. I’m an easy-going person, everything about me is easy. I believe in certain things and I live my life by those things, namely; Truthfulness – It’s important to me, I believe we must have principles because that’s what differentiates us from animals. Kindness is very important, if you’re not kind, we can’t be friends.

It’s not just kindness to people who don’t have, it’s kindness to every human being that you meet. It is important, if we say we are God’s children and God is love and he sent his son to die for our sins, then we should at least try and emulate him in loving everyone that comes around us, by showing love to each and every one. Everyone that comes near you should be touched by you.

Are you fulfilled as an actress?
I am very fulfilled.

No regrets?
No regrets whatsoever. I’m doing what I want to do. I’m excited.

What’s your advice to aspiring actresses?
Please, if you want to be an actor, first and foremost, go to school, because that will show you if you have talent or not. Go try it out , go study Theatre Arts or Performing Arts. Go and major in acting. Get the basic background, so you know you have a lot more to say.

Are you in a relationship?
Yes, I am. But I don’t talk about my relationships.

Will Smith's wife, Jada slams divorce rumours, spends holiday with family

Jada Pinkett Smith continues to slam divorce rumors and recently expressed how blessed she was to spend Christmas with her husband and their children.

The 42-year-old singer/actress admitted that she felt extremely grateful this year to have family after one of Will's friends passed away on Christmas Eve. Jada, who has two teenage children, Jaden, 15 and Willow, 13 with her husband took to Facebook last Tuesday to write a note to her fans.

"My husband lost a friend today. It hit me how often I forget that nothing lasts forever, especially life. Today, I am blessed to be surrounded by the love of my family and friends, and I have been reminded not to take that for granted," Jada wrote, adding, "Honour and cherish what and who you love because nothing is immune from impermanence. Love."

Jada's post comes months after Will was accused of cheating with his Focus co-star, Margot Robbie.

Photos of Will and Robbie went viral that showed them getting touchy and cozy in a photo booth in New Orleans.

Back in November, the 23-year-old Australian actress took to Twitter to address the false reports about her hooking up with the actor.

"Been working non-stop, just catching my breath," she tweeted on Thursday, Nov. 7. "There's absolutely no truth to the ridiculous rumor in Star mag."
"It's disappointing that goofing around on set could be taken so out of context," Robbie also wrote.

Last year, rumors swirled that Jada and Will had separated, indicating that she moved out of the home she shared with the actor. But in April, she cleared up those rumors, telling Gala magazine, "These rumors are completely untrue. I travel a lot because of my work, just like Will does."

I'm still in the choir and committed to God - Chidima (Photos of choir)

A few months ago, it was reported that MTN project fame 3 winner, Chidinma Ekile aka Mz Kedike had quit her church choir.
According to reports, Chidinma Ekile - a member of the Choir in Foursquare Gospel Church - was forced to leave the choir due to her 'unholy' dressing.

When it comes to dressing, Foursquare Gospel church is  very strict with its members and workers but following her fame and genre of music, Chidinma could no longer comply with the dress code, the reports claimed.

“If I hear say Chidinma no dey choir again.....I am committed to God Almighty and my church, I will serve God till death...." she said as she shared a photo of herself in her choir uniform today. See photo below:

OJB slams D'Banj over donation

During an interview with Inspiration FM's Gloria Maduka post surgery, veteran music producer OJB Jezreel addressed controversy surrounding his donations, said celebs used it as competition and calls out Dbanj. Here's why he's unhappy with D'banj. During his fund raiser many months back, there were rumours that D'banj gave his former music producer N7m, a report that D'banj didn't deny. OJB says D'banj didn't give him a dime and was upset that he didn't try to set the record straight
"The most disappointing one for me is D'banj because he passed through my hands, he was trained under my tutelage. That is offensive. I don't care if you're with Kanye West, you can't forget your root. I won't call anybody else's name but I will call his because it hurts. His own hurts very deep. And he never tried to reach out to me. It's not like we parted on fighting terms.  He told me he had to go to London and he went. And when he came back it was Don Jazzy, and I said OK, that's fine. And what he did worked and I'm very proud of him, the love I had for him, that's why it hurts more. He should have come out to say no, I don't know why you people are saying all this, I didn't give OJB N7million, maybe a part of him felt embarrassed because at the end of the day, really, are you not supposed to do something?" OJB says during the interview
He also talked about how people used his fund raiser as competition and once again addresses the bounced cheques. Continue....

"When P-Square gave me N5million cheque, everybody started treating it as a competition. They were like, they brought N5m, I want to show that I can do more, or equal it. So they will come to my house, some will drop N2m, N1m, you say thank you, they take pictures and go away. Then you drop the cheque in your account and you see that almost N4/5million is being returned back to you that it didn't clear. You call them and tell them and they tell you they are coming but they haven't picked the cheques till now.
"The shocking ones are not even the bounced cheques. It's the ones that when they are coming to meet you in the house to give you money, they come with a whole camera crew. Then they will say I'm donating one million naira to you and the cameras start recording and maybe the guy's tape stops, and he says let's take that again (Laughs).
"There were people in my dialysis that I gave N100k each to pay for their dialysis, we didn't publicize it, we didn't take photos with them, because I felt that was unnecessary."
