SaharaReporters is confidently projecting Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of last weekend’s presidential election based on collated poll results from 95 percent of Nigeria’s polling units. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will resume the official release of the poll figures at 10 a.m. Nigerian time today, with Mr. Buhari all but certain to be declared the president-elect.

Latest INEC result from JEGA
The presidential election results for 18 states plus the FCT has so far been announced. The APC has 10 states, while PDP has 8 states plus the FCT, Abuja. It's a very tight race.
So far APC is leading with 8,520,436 votes while PDP has 6,488,210 votes.

POLLS: Tension as results trickle in - Vanguard
LAGOS — The nation was in suspense, yesterday, as results from last Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections continued to trickle in.
At press time, only Ekiti and Osun States had fully declared results of the elections. President Goodluck Jonathan, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP won all 16 local government areas of Ekiti but lost in Osun.
In the National Assembly results declared, the President of the Senate, Senator David Mark was in pole position to become the only senator to have survived since 1999 having won all five of the seven local government areas in his Benue South Senatorial District.

Buhari Leading In Kogi
As the Independent Electoral Commission collates the results of the March 28 Presidential poll across the country, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen Muhammadu Buhari(retd.), is leading in six of the 11 Local Government Areas collated so far in Kogi State on Sunday.
Our correspondent, who was at the INEC headquarters in Lokoja, reports that the Collation officers of the 21 LGAs of the state began trickling in at about 11am on Sunday but the actual collation did not begin until 6pm, when only seven Collation Officers had arrived.

Presidential Result In Oyo: APC Wins In 19 LGs
The presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress, (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari is leading in Oyo according to results of the local government released by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
With the results from Oyo, Buhari appears to have won all states in the Southwest save for Ekiti state where the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won.
